• Our answering machine will give you the telephone number of the duty veterinary surgeon.
  
  
• This will usually be one of our own vets from our own practice, but very occasionally Nantwich Veterinary Hospital may cover our out of hours. They are at Crewe Road End, Nantwich, CW5 5SF.
  
  
• Out of hours emergency veterinary care is more costly than during normal opening hours, and our emergency consultation prices start at £99.88. This will alter depending on the time of day or night. The maximum emergency consultation charge is £158.63 which is only charged to clients who are not registered with us at the time of the emergency occurring.
  
  
• Although we do not charge for telephone advice, we are unable to discuss the care of your pet if (s)he is treated at another practice- you should contact them (or their out of hours service provider).
  
  
• If you are unable to contact your normal veterinary practice, and you genuinely believe your pet to require emergency care, our vets will be able to see you, however full payment would be expected at the time of the treatment- we accept cash and card payments only (we do not accept cheques).
